GPS

With the advent of high tech century, the transportation system and has become increasingly advanced and thousands of  interlaced roads complicated have been built. It is a big deal for a driver if he does not very familiar with the routes. 

GPS, as we all know, is the abbreviation of Global Positioning System. It is likely to get lost in numerous intersections in highways unless you possess a GPS. As shown in the picture, GPS is almost a handy electronic product with a square screen. It can be accessed in the car easily and guide drivers which direction to go directly. In my personal experience, what I know about GPS is just like a "teacher" teaching a driver where to go in each turn while driving and bring a lot of convenience. Actually, this is only the surface of the utilization that I can observe. 

I find that both advantages and disadvantages are existed. It is available to report the police in emergence, looking for relevant information about the car itself and road situation, record, analysis, and playback the historical data,etc. On the contrary, some users' feedback indicate that it takes too much time to fix position and weak signal. After deeply understanding more functions and feedback of GPS, this kind of invention still need to be improved in inner part. 

If I were interested in this domain or specifically, this product, I will collect sufficient feedback from the product users and focus on improving the focal problem. I could see myself, possibly, designing a perfect GPSx for drivers to enjoy their relaxed driving without worrying about any kinds of problems.

Solving a problem using Toulmin model

Claim: 

I really did a wonderful job in learning English in elementary school. Unfortunately, when I entered secondary school, aged 14, the fourth year of learning English. I did not know why I failed so many times in my secondary school English exams and tests. 

Grounds: 

I got a nice score in secondary school entrance examination. I entered a terrific secondary school and experienced a completely change of anything around me. I am new here, I can not be the firstclass students easily any more, I have to confront so many challenges that I have never met. I also have to discern that all my classmates are perfect students, I do not have any advantages in this new class. Actually, I need more time to adapt the new environment and acclimatize myself to the period of the transition from elementary school to secondary school. 

Warrant:

I am not a stupid boy. I do not lack of any abilities comparing with others. I have strong basis of English. I also have the ambition to be the top student in any classes. 

Backing:

After entering the secondary school, I do finish my homework on time, I do make clearly note in the class, I do review the topic and recite new words every day. To be honest, I pay much attention to my English learning. I know that confidence based on competence, I have the confidence to say, I can be the best. This school will not receive a stupid guy, I am sure that I can perform well and leave good impression on my teacher.

Qualifier:

Usually, it takes time for anyone to adapt the new environment. The only difference is that how long someone really need. To adapt faster, to perform better. I should take it easy because it is a common situation for any students. Certainly, we have to spare no effort to shorten this period as much as possible.
